Come to a reading of PETER!

Peter squareAnticipating boredom and already looking for something to do over holiday break?

Everyone age 12 to 18 who may be interested in auditioning for or working on Peter and the Starcatcher is invited to read and discuss the play with director Angela Klimaytis and producer Darren Farrington on December 28.

Based on the novel written as “a grown-up’s prequel to Peter Pan,” this play with music tells the thrilling adventures of a young orphan who becomes The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up, and explores the origins of Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, the Lost Boys, and Neverland itself.

Over four hours (with a lunch break), we’ll read this play, discuss the characters and plot, and answer questions about auditions—which will be held on January 22 and 24.

Workshop Date: Thursday, December 28
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: NBYT at the Berlin YMCA, 362 Main Street, Berlin
Cost: Free

Participants may bring their own copy of the play, or may share or borrow a copy at the workshop. Participants may also bring lunch or snacks, or may bring money to order pizza or other food from a nearby restaurant.

Participation is not required for anyone planning to audition in January. To pre-register for the workshop or get more information, email or call 860-515-8115.
