Give the Gift of Theater!

2015-12-09 12.39.47What to give the child or teen who loves theater—and maybe especially loves NBYT? How about a gift certificate for participation in a class or NBYT production? Another charitable gift-giving opportunity this season is sponsorship of a child in an NBYT class or production!

Gift certificates are available in any amount and can be used for program participation or to purchase tickets or merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies, or water bottles. The certificate comes with an NBYT notecard—or you might even choose to purchase a water bottle ($5) or NBYT logo t-shirt ($10) to give with it! Short-sleeve shirts in red are available in most youth sizes, and other styles and colors can be ordered.

Sponsorship is the gift of providing a child—either one you know or don’t know—with participation in an NBYT program or show. It’s the policy of NBYT to never turn away a child or teen who wants to participate, so we rely on donations from a generous community to help pay costs for families who can’t pay all or part of participation fees. A donation of $75 will pay for a child’s participation in a play, and a donation of $125 will pay for a child to take a class in acting, musical theater, or improv. Donations of any amount are accepted too of course, and they can be designated for our Young Actors Fund—which directly supports children and teens by helping to pay participation fees. All donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

To purchase a gift card, contact NBYT Executive Director Darren Farrington at or call 860-515-8115.
