Come “Jam” with NBYT and help Connecticut kids!

LogoJoin NBYT at its FIRST ANNUAL HOLIDAY PAJAMMIN’ PARTY! Have fun with NBYT and help to provide “one million good nights” to Connecticut children in need.

Drop in anytime on Saturday, December 13, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM for activities including stories, games, music, dancing, crafts, and karaoke!

Arrive by 3:30 to meet Suzy-Q the clown for balloon animals and fun! Stay for the Pajama Fashion Show beginning at 4:30 for anyonevcoming in pj’s! Karaoke will begin at 6:00! Pizza and other food and drink will be provided throughout the afternoon and evening. Activity schedules will be updated as we get closer to the party!

ADDED! We’re hoping to have a visit from Mayor Erin Stewart at the beginning of the afternoon! Come early for a holiday story!

Along with being a holiday party for NBYT friends and families, we’re going to collect donations for Connecticut’s Pajama Program. The Pajama Program is a charitable organization that provides brand new pajamas and new books to children in need. These children live in group homes, shelters, and temporary housing facilities, and are often shuffled from one place to another waiting and hoping to be adopted. Many of them have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Some of the children are living with their families below the poverty level, in desperate need of food, clothing, and shelter. These simple gifts let the children know that someone cares. Donations of pajamas (brand new only!) are encouraged, but not required, to come to the party. Wearing pajamas is optional for kids attending too!

ADDED! If you can’t attend on Saturday, donations of brand new pajamas can be left in a donation box at the YMCA through the week!
