New Britain Youth Theater seeks a part-time Marketing and Development Assistant to work one to two mornings each week. Responsibilities will include assisting with grants, donations, press, publicity, ticket sales, program books, and events.
The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, comfortable contacting and communicating with various people, and able to work both independently and with other NBYT staff. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel will be helpful. Schedules and time commitment are somewhat flexible. Hourly salary is dependent upon experience. Compensation will also include a small commission on group sales, sponsorships, and school bookings.
